Emma Diamond (she/her)

Emma is the first IFS Institute trainer in the Australia, New Zealand region.

Emma is a psychotherapist, child and family therapist with 17 years of clinical experience across a variety of presentations and contexts. Emma has formally worked for several Non-Government Organisations in the Northern Territory and NSW specialising in CPTSD, Family and Domestic Violence services, services supporting those affected by the Royal Commission into Institutionalised Childhood Sexual Abuse and for the Department of Justice NSW.

Emma is currently working in private practice and for Victims Services NSW specialising in working with trauma of all kinds.

Emma is particularly passionate about supporting reconciliation, ‘The Voice’ to parliament and the Uluru statement from the heart. Emma works with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander first nations people to listen deeply and support healing from historical, racial, intergenerational and personal trauma as well as supporting ATSI practitioners and clinicians in applying Internal Family Systems to their communities and services.

Emma is a certified Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapist and case consultant/ supervisor offering individual therapy as well as individual and group supervision. Emma is currently participating in the IFS Institutes Lead Trainer Program and will hopefully be training internationally very soon.

Emma is known for her warm, creative and clear facilitation, her supportive and empowering presence and her love of the natural world,dance and playfulness.
