DESCRIPTION:Observe the IFS approach\, model and techniques in action.\nClinical trainer and Certified IFS Therapist Simon d’Orsogna will present these Applied IFS Demos Online\, in group sessions via the ZOOM platform (8 hours in each series). Participants aim to deepen the basics of the IFS approach through examples\, commentary and reflection. In this workshop series you will immerse yourself in the Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS) model of psychotherapy.  The workshop sessions aim to provide an opportunity for adult learning in a process-oriented group approach to foster professional development in a supportive collegial atmosphere. Suitable to mental health professionals including therapists\, psychologists\, counsellors\, psychiatrists\, expressive\, therapeutic arts practitioners and social workers. \nParticipants in the Introductory Workshop will learn the basics of the IFS approach from the ground up. No previous knowledge of the model is assumed. The focus in the Deepening days is on further understanding the IFS approach\, model and techniques through a series of exercises\, demos and discussion. \nParticipants will be supported in the experiential work with experienced trained therapists and practitioners as your assistants. The workshop provides an opportunity for didactic presentation\, watching both demonstration sessions with commentary and discussion and engaging in experiential exercises where we learn-by-doing.
