DESCRIPTION:We hold a monthly IFS Community Call which is an invitation to share an hour together for anyone in the IFS community who has completed an IFS introduction or 6+ hours of self-study\, read No Bad Parts or completed introductory online training. SUMMARY:IFS MODEL - Introduction and Deepening 2+2 Day Workshop\, Sydney 2026
DESCRIPTION:An Introduction and Deepening of the Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS) model of psychotherapy – assumes no prior knowledge.\nJoin our IFS Institute International Partner Simon d’Orsogna MA in a 2-Day Introductory IFS Workshop\, followed by a 2-Day Deepening IFS Workshop. In this workshop series you will immerse yourself in the Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS) model of psychotherapy.  The workshop sessions aim to provide an opportunity for adult learning in a process-oriented group approach to foster professional development in a supportive collegial atmosphere. Suitable to mental health professionals including therapists\, psychologists\, counsellors\, psychiatrists\, expressive\, therapeutic arts practitioners and social workers. \nParticipants in the Introductory Workshop will learn the basics of the IFS approach from the ground up. No previous knowledge of the model is assumed. The focus in the Deepening days is on further understanding the IFS approach\, model and techniques through a series of exercises\, demos and discussion. \nParticipants will be supported in the experiential work with experienced trained therapists and practitioners as your assistants. The workshop provides an opportunity for didactic presentation\, watching both demonstration sessions with commentary and discussion and engaging in experiential exercises where we learn-by-doing. You will develop a familiarity with the powerful attitudes and techniques that make IFS so effective. \n\nTestimonials from attendees of Simon’s recent IFS workshops … \nThe workshop inspired me to become more committed to using the model and developed my confidence. Group discussions\, demonstrations and small group work created a positive and open learning atmosphere. Simon was living the values of IFS through openly embracing all the parts in the room. SUMMARY:APPLIED IFS - Online Demos | Series I
DESCRIPTION:Observe the IFS approach\, model and techniques in action.\nClinical trainer and Certified IFS Therapist Simon d’Orsogna will present these Applied IFS Demos Online\, in group sessions via the ZOOM platform (8 hours in each series). Participants aim to deepen the basics of the IFS approach through examples\, commentary and reflection. Participants will use IFS as the lens or central spine of the work\, offering practical modelling and application through an experiential orientation. \nIn this series of recorded video demonstrations and discussion\, a small study group will build on their existing knowledge from the IFS Introduction and offer discussion and further learning with 4 demonstrations of recorded client sessions showing working with a new client\, working with the body\, working with a couple and trauma processing.  Participants may commence with either Series I (4 individual sessions)\, Series II (one client over 4 sessions) or Series III (4 single sessions) in the Applied IFS Demo workshops series. \n  \nMore information and ticketing
