Kia ora! You are invited to take a deep dive into working with clients’ most vulnerable parts and bringing healing with particular attention to advanced nuances of the unburdening process. The workshop combines meditation, teaching and exercises, guiding you to:
• Identify how the healing steps are adapted in client’s unique healing process.
• Reasons why exiles might be reluctant to trust Self and release burdens.
• Understand when it is appropriate to witness/do over and when it is appropriate to release.
* Prerequisite: This is a workshop for IFS practitioners who have completed IFS 40 hours of training or above.
ABOUT YOUR TRAINER
Jory Agate LMHC, MDiv, MA is a senior IFS lead trainer, teaching IFS Level 1 and 2 internationally. She is a therapist and consultant with private practice in Cambridge, MA. She is committed to creating a collaborative clinical space that honours the cultural uniqueness of her clients and supervisees. She specializes in treating trauma without pathologizing individuals for the creative ways they may have learned to cope. .
