Healing from Neglect: Developmental Upset and Repairing the Arc
This workshop is for experienced IFS therapists wanting to deepen their understanding of how emotional childhood neglect shapes internal systems & impacts adult clients. Through this immersive experience, therapists will not only enhance their clinical skills but also deepen their own self-awareness – helping them show up more fully in their work with clients.

Join Jenny Fiebig and Simon d’Orsogna in this immersive LIVE/In-Person 2-Day + 1-Day workshop which explores how trauma and neglect disrupt healthy human development and how Internal Family Systems (IFS) offers a powerful framework for understanding the protective adaptations children and adults develop in response to overwhelming experiences.
The first 2 days cover a developmental framework, mapping trauma and clinical applications. The third day attends the Therapist’s Self bringing your own history into focus and how we can bring IFS as an effective intervention. Participants have a choice of attending all 3 days or the first 2-day sessions.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
This workshop is ideal for experienced IFS trained therapists, counsellors and healing professionals familiar with IFS who want to expand their capacity to work with clients impacted by emotional neglect. It is especially suited for those working with:
- Trauma & Attachment Issues
- Dissociation & Emotional Numbing
- Shame, Perfectionism & People-Pleasing
- Clients Struggling with Emotional Disconnection
This is not an introduction to IFS, so basic concepts & language will be assumed. This is not a group therapy event, and is not suitable for those experiencing crisis.
- IFS Level 1-2-3 trained professionals please note that IFSI CEs have been requested.
- This is NOT an introductory workshop and core IFS concepts and language are assumed. Invitations will be sent to those attending the earlier workshop series.
