This two day workshop is offered online in real time.
Dates/Times: February 7-8, 2025, 9 am – 4 pm ET
THE SEMINAR PROGRAM will contain a lot of important theoretical and practical information on the topic.
Theoretical portion will cover:
*What is neurodiversity and neurodivergence?
*Why women and men have different manifestations of neurodivergence?
*What role does ableist culture play in psychological challenges of neurodivergent folks?
*How can we understand autistic and ADHD clients from the IFS lens?
*How can we work with autistic and ADHD clients in IFS therapy? Classic IFS protocols do not always work with them and need to be reviewed and modified.
Practice portion will offer:
*Exercises for exploring Participants’ therapeutic parts that respond to the client’s neurodivergent system;
* Exercises that help separate the work of the nervous system and parts;
*Practice and development of skills in small groups.
Credits & Certificates.
Seminar will offer:
1) certificate of attendance to everyone who completes attendance requirements (at least 80% of sessions attended)
2) 12.5 IFS credits for IFS Institute certification or recertification (need to attend at least 80% of the sessions)
3) 12.5 CEUs to licensed mental health providers in the US (need to attend at least 90% of the session and fill out evaluation form)
