IFS MODEL – Online Introduction Webinar and Sessions – 4 x 90min sessions

February 4, 2026 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

OVERVIEW

A whoa-to-go introduction to the Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS) model of psychotherapy – assumes no prior knowledge.

In this workshop series you will immerse yourself in the Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS) model of psychotherapy. Simon d’Orsogna MA (IFS Institute’s International Partner for Australia and NZ) will offer an Introductory IFS Online workshop as a public webinar and 3 small meetings via the ZOOM platform. Webinar plus lectures combine to a 6-hour series total.

Participants in the Introductory Workshop Series will learn the basics of the IFS approach from the ground up. No previous knowledge of the model is assumed. Suitable to professionals (therapists, psychologists, counsellors, expressive and therapeutic arts practitioners, and social workers) as well as those seriously interested in their self-development. The focus in this series is on understanding the IFS approach, model and techniques. The Demos Series, Enriching Workshops, Small Groups, IFS Online Circle, and Level 1 Training will be a natural next step to those who have completed the Introductory workshop.

This Introductory lecture series (standalone 90 minute Webinar plus three 90-minute meetings) provides an opportunity for didactic presentation, watching a pre-recorded demonstration session with commentary, some (optional) experiential learning by doing, and develops a comfortable familiarity with the powerful attitudes and techniques that make IFS so effective. The sessions here provide an opportunity for group learning in a supportive atmosphere.
