WORKSHOP CONTENT

In this 2-day professional development workshop for mental health professionals, participants will be offered an experiential style introduction to Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy. IFS is a non-pathologising evidence-based psychotherapy. Internationally, IFS is fast becoming well recognised as a pragmatic and empowering paradigm, transforming many lives.

This workshop includes a multi-modal experiential learning approach, including content, reflections, discussions and live demonstrations.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

• Learn the flow of the IFS model
• Understand and work with the client’s protective system
• Learn IFS skills – insight and direct access
• Understand the interface between therapist’s own system and client’s system from an IFS perspective
