Official Level 3 Training

Level 2 graduates work intensively with fellow advanced practitioners to further develop their knowledge of IFS and hone their skills with its techniques.

You are a good fit for Level 3 if your goal is not only to become a better therapist, but also to:

  • Learn about and unburden personal triggers and blind spots.
  • Hold Self-energy in daily life and when provoked.
  • Clarify your vision for your career and life path.
  • Practice giving and receiving Self-led feedback.
  • Discover some key trailheads.
  • Explore your spirituality.
  • Create a small, Self-led community.

The format includes demonstration, experiential group exercise, large and small group discussion, extended mediation, and intensive personal work.

YOU MUST HAVE COMPLETED IFS INSTITUTE’S LEVEL 2 TRAINING TO ENROL HERE.

L3-1 – August 2024 – Led by Einat Avni Bronstein (In-person, Mooloolaba QLD, five days)

PLEASE NOTE – DUE TO THE LEVEL OF INTEREST, WE WILL ONLY CONTACT YOU WHEN A PLACE BECOMES AVAILABLE.

There is extremely high demand in this training and while we’d love to be able to accommodate all interested parties it is not currently possible because of the limited number of IFSI endorsed trainers. Please do note in the interim though, there are many other workshops available to get started and learn the basic skills, and self-study options and we also strongly recommend getting a trained IFS therapist – pls see our practitioners directory and/or take classes with accredited and experienced people whilst you wait.

This interest list for IFS Institute-endorsed Level 3 IFS training in the Australian and New Zealand region (including SE Asia and Oceania) to support and manage the growing interest in the model. Due to our external constraints, we do have only a few training sessions each year, with limited places in any Level of training. We will make as many opportunities as possible and seek to support the growing practitioner base with a variety of extension workshops and related training. Other recommended online learning offerings are available online at the IFS Institute https://ifs-institute.com

You must complete IFSI’s L2 before being eligible for L3 trainings. Other courses (‘Stepping Stones’, ‘Foundations’ and PESI seminars etc) are not recognised by the IFS Institute. According to IFS Institute policy you cannot enrol for their advanced trainings of L2 or L3, nor claim to be an IFS therapist without completing IFSI’s L1 or L2 at a minimum.

Places for this training are selected by lottery, with places weighted for balancing gender, clinical qualification and experience, geography (regional applications from Australia, New Zealand, SE Asia, and Oceania will be strongly preferred). We aim to support indigenous practitioners and communities through a bursary in each training. Offers and places in all official IFS Institute trainings globally are very limited, and we regretfully accept we cannot meet the current demand. We cannot enter into discussion about individual applications. Multiple email enquiries will not enhance your application’s chances, it takes time to reply to each and administratively it takes us away from other important tasks.

We do encourage community peer-learning, and getting your own therapy with a trained IFS practitioner in Australia – try the online directory of local trained IFS practitioners or the IFSI online US-global version [https://ifs-institute.com/practitioners ].

If you have already been listed from earlier applications you do not need to add your name here again, you will be added to the lottery. If you are not sure please feel free to add your name, as we do remove repeated entries.

With good wishes and inviting you to speak for your parts in wanting learning, deepening and professional and personal growth!

Again, much appreciation for your interest and enthusiasm for this growing work in the region – and in each of us and our communities.
